1. Scope & Who This Policy Applies To

This Shipping & Returns Policy applies to all B2B orders placed on https://honeycombmetal.com/ and covers logistics, delivery, inspection, and after-sales handling for Foshan Wonderful Composite Materials Co., Ltd. (“WDF”). WDF supplies aluminum honeycomb core, aluminum honeycomb panels, stainless steel/stone composite panels, FRP honeycomb panels, wall cladding & ceiling systems—mostly made-to-order and project-specific.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

2. Shipping Terms (Incoterms 2020)

Shipments follow Incoterms 2020. Common terms include EXW FoshanFOB (China main ports, as agreed)CIF, or other terms requested in your PO/contract.

Key Notes (Typical for B2B Projects):

  • Production lead time: typically 15–25 working days after drawing/spec confirmation and deposit (varies by customization, finish, and order volume)
  • Transit time: depends on destination and shipping mode (sea / land / rail / air)
  • Export documents: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading / AWB, and other documents as agreed (CO, test reports, etc.)
  • Packing: export-grade packing (crate/pallet) is used to reduce transit risk for large-format panels

Tracking or shipment updates will be shared once the cargo is released by the carrier/forwarder.

3. Inspection & Acceptance on Arrival

To protect your project schedule, you should inspect all goods immediately upon arrival (outer package + labels + quantity + visible panel condition).

If you find any of the following, notify WDF within 7 days of delivery:

  • visible transport damage
  • missing items / wrong quantity
  • clear spec mismatch (size, finish, label, or packing marks)

What to send: photos/videos + package labels + crate markings + delivery note + a clear description of the issue.

Due to international logistics timelines and claim procedures, claims submitted after 7 days may not be accepted.

4. Returns & Replacements (Project-Made Materials)

Most WDF products are custom-fabricated (cut-to-size, edge treatment, special finishes) and involve high freight cost and handling risk. For this reason, returns are generally not accepted unless there is a confirmed quality issue attributable to manufacturing.

If a replacement is approved, WDF will provide one of the following solutions depending on the case:

  • replacement shipment (full or partial)
  • credit / partial refund (if replacement is not practical)

Important:

  • All returns/replacements must be pre-authorized in writing by WDF
  • Products must remain unused, in original packing, and stored properly
  • Unauthorized returns will not be accepted at the warehouse/forwarder

5. Transport Damage or Defective Items

If cargo arrives damaged due to transport, you should:

  1. Notify the carrier immediately and request a damage report (where available)

  2. Notify WDF within 48 hours, with clear photos of:

    • damaged products
    • packaging/crate condition
    • shipping marks, labels, and carton/crate IDs

WDF will support you in filing an insurance or carrier claim (when insurance applies) and will coordinate an appropriate corrective action plan.

6. Customs, Duties & Destination Charges

For international shipments, the buyer is responsible for:

  • import duties and local taxes (VAT/GST, etc.)
  • customs inspection fees
  • destination port/terminal handling charges
  • any local compliance fees (where applicable)

WDF will provide standard export documentation to support smooth customs clearance.
