Quality Assurance & Inspection Policy (WDF)
Last updated: March 2026
1. Your Quality Comes First
When you specify aluminum honeycomb panels, honeycomb cores, ACP, stainless steel / stone composite panels, or FRP honeycomb sandwich panels, you need stable flatness, reliable bonding, and repeatable finishes—batch after batch. WDF runs a QA system covering production → inspection → packing → container loading, so your materials arrive ready for fabrication and installation, not for rework.
2. Manufacturing Standards & Traceability
WDF manufacturing is managed under ISO-style quality controls with continuous monitoring of key factors, including:
- Aluminum coil / foil grade control, core cell size consistency, and batch records
- Adhesive system & curing parameters (temperature, time, pressure) for stable lamination
- Panel flatness & dimensional tolerance for project-fit accuracy
- Bonding strength verification for honeycomb / foam / PP core composite structures
Every production batch is linked with a lot number, connecting raw materials → process records → finished panels → loading details, helping you track quality with confidence.
3. In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)
Quality checks are applied at each stage:
- Raw Material Screening – Aluminum sheets/foils, adhesives, core materials checked for key specs (thickness, moisture, density where applicable).
- Core & Lamination Control – Process parameters recorded to maintain consistent mechanical performance.
- Surface Finish Verification – Coating uniformity, color/texture consistency, defect inspection (especially for decorative finishes).
- Cutting & CNC Processing – Size accuracy and edge condition checked; typical tolerance managed around ±1 mm for cut-to-size items (per order requirement).
- Final Visual & Dimensional Review – 100% surface inspection before packing under suitable lighting.
4. Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)
Before shipment, each order is checked by in-house PSI or your appointed third party, including:
- Surface appearance: dents, scratches, coating uniformity, finish consistency
- Thickness, size, squareness, and key tolerances
- Composite performance checks (panel rigidity / bonding stability where required)
- Packing integrity: corner protection, moisture protection, labeling accuracy
If your project requires it, you can request independent inspection such as SGS / BV / TÜV. WDF supports factory audits and online video inspection for faster approvals.
5. Sampling & Approval Standard
To reduce risk before mass production:
- Pre-production samples are available for your approval.
- Once approved, the sample becomes the production benchmark for the order.
- Approved references are retained for 6 months for comparison and traceability.
6. Non-Conformity Handling & Resolution
If any non-conformance is found:
- A Corrective Action Report (CAR) is created with clear photos/data.
- Root-cause analysis starts immediately, including process and material checks.
- Resolution follows the agreed commercial terms (replacement / credit / other remedy), aligned with your project impact.
The goal is simple: protect your site schedule and reputation with fast, documented action.
7. Audits, Compliance & Responsible Manufacturing
You can audit WDF through on-site visits, virtual tours, or third-party verification. WDF supports documentation aligned with typical project and market expectations, including:
- Quality management system documents and relevant test/support files (as applicable)
- Compliance support for commercial building and transportation interior use cases
- Responsible workplace and transparent production management
