Refund & Warranty Policy

1. Scope & Acceptance

This Refund & Warranty Policy applies to all orders placed with WDF | Foshan Wonderful Composite Materials Co., Ltd. via honeycombmetal.com. It covers our aluminum honeycomb corealuminum honeycomb panels, and related composite panel solutions (including FRP honeycomb panels, stone composite panels, and stainless steel composite panels). By issuing a PO, paying a deposit, or confirming drawings/specs, you accept the terms below.

2. When a Refund Is Eligible

Because most panels are made-to-order (cut-to-size, edge finishing, custom coating/finish) and shipped as heavy cargo, refunds are available only when one of the following is verified:

  • Manufacturing defects confirmed by WDF quality inspection (pre-shipment or upon claim review)
  • Wrong specifications caused by our production error, such as thickness, panel build-up, surface finish/coating, or ordered size
  • Order cancellation before production starts, provided no material purchasing, processing, or customization cost has been incurred

Refunds are not available for:

  • Damage caused by improper unloading, storage, cutting, machining, or installation
  • Visual variation that falls within normal tolerance (e.g., minor tone/texture differences across batches, especially for decorative finishes)
  • Delays caused by carriers, port congestion, customs inspection, or third-party logistics

3. Refund Request Process

If your case qualifies:

  1. Submit a written claim within 7 calendar days of receiving the goods
  2. Include: PO/Invoice No., product label details, packing photos, and clear defect photos/videos
  3. WDF will review and may request additional evidence (measurement records, installation environment, etc.)
  4. If approved, the refund will be processed within 15 business days by the original payment method, or issued as credit for your next order (as agreed)

Note: If return shipment is required, return logistics will be arranged only after written approval from WDF.

4. Warranty Coverage (Limited)

WDF provides a 12-month limited warranty from shipment date, covering:

  • Delamination / bonding failure caused by manufacturing
  • Structural defects affecting performance under normal intended use
  • Surface defects that materially affect the panel’s functional performance (not cosmetic-only issues)

This warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation methods, unsuitable fasteners/adhesives, or non-approved substructure
  • Use beyond recommended environments (e.g., extreme heat exposure, chemical corrosion, or improper cleaning agents)
  • Third-party modification (recoating, chemical treatment, re-lamination, uncontrolled rework)

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

To file a warranty claim:

  • Notify WDF within 7 days after the issue is discovered
  • Provide: order details, photos/videos, and a short description of the application and site conditions
  • After evaluation, WDF may provide (at our discretion): replacement materialspartial refund, or order credit, depending on impact and root cause

6. Liability Limit

WDF’s total liability is limited to the value of the verified defective product. We are not responsible for:

  • Installation labor, removal/re-installation, scaffolding, or site delay costs
  • Indirect or consequential losses arising from third-party services or logistics delays
