Quality Assurance & Inspection Policy
Last updated: December 2025
1. Commitment to Quality
At Fortex, we understand that global buyers require consistent performance, structural reliability and predictable supply. All FRP panels, roofing sheets and sandwich systems are produced under a strict Quality Assurance (QA) framework to meet international requirements for thickness, flatness, surface finish and bonding strength.
Our responsibility extends through production, inspection, packaging and loading, ensuring every shipment arrives in stable and ready-to-use condition.
2. Manufacturing Standards
All Fortex composite materials are produced under ISO-certified production systems, supported by continuous monitoring of:
- Resin formulation, fiberglass content and batch records
- Curing temperature, gelcoat adhesion and UV-resistance consistency
- Dimensional tolerance and panel flatness
- Bonding strength for XPS / PU / PP honeycomb core structures
Each batch is fully traceable using a unique lot number, linking raw materials to final container loading.
3. In-Process Quality Control
Quality control is applied throughout every manufacturing stage:
- Raw Material Screening – Fiberglass, resin and core materials tested for purity, density and moisture level.
- Lamination & Curing Control – Automated monitoring of curing cycle to ensure uniform mechanical strength.
- Surface Verification – Check for gloss, texture, gelcoat uniformity and defect-free finish.
- Cutting & CNC Processing – Precision cutting with tolerance typically within ±1 mm.
- Final QC Review – 100% surface inspection under natural and artificial light before packaging.
4. Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)
Before shipment, each order undergoes a final in-house or third-party inspection, covering:
- Surface quality, gloss and texture consistency
- Thickness and dimensional accuracy
- Bonding strength and panel rigidity (for sandwich panels)
- Packaging stability, moisture protection and labeling accuracy
Clients may request independent agencies such as SGS, BV or TÜV to conduct their own PSI. We support buyer audits, including online video inspections.
5. Sampling & Product Approval
To ensure clarity before production:
- Pre-production samples can be provided for client approval.
- The approved sample becomes the official reference standard for mass production.
- All approved samples are stored for 6 months for comparison and traceability.
6. Non-Conformity & Resolution
If any non-conforming item is identified:
- A detailed Corrective Action Report (CAR) is issued.
- Root-cause investigation begins immediately.
- Replacement or compensation follows the Warranty & After-Sales Policy.
Our goal is to maintain long-term cooperation with minimal operational disruption.
7. Factory Audits & Compliance
Fortex welcomes factory visits, virtual audits and third-party verifications. Our facilities comply with:
- CE-related material requirements
- ISO environmental and production management systems
- Safe workplace and responsible labor standards
We believe transparency builds trust, and trust supports every partnership.
