Packaging & Logistics Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. Commitment to Safe Delivery

When you import aluminum honeycomb panels, honeycomb cores, and composite panels, packaging is not “extra”—it’s part of product quality. WDF (Foshan Wonderful Composite Materials Co., Ltd.) uses export-grade packaging + controlled loading procedures to help your shipment arrive clean, undamaged, and site-ready—whether it’s going by sea, air, or multimodal routes.

2. Export Packaging Standards

Your order is packed to match international export requirements and typical risks for large-format decorative panels (scratches, edge impact, humidity, salt air).

Common packaging options include:

  • Wooden crates / reinforced crates (ISPM 15 compliant when required)
  • EPE foam + edge guards + corner protection to reduce abrasion and dent risk
  • Protective film + interleaf sheets for coated / decorative surfaces (PVDF, anodized, wood/stone finishes)
  • Moisture-resistant wrapping for long-distance sea freight
  • Export pallets suitable for container, truck, and warehouse handling

Each package is labeled clearly for faster receiving and inspection:

  • Product name, thickness, finish, batch/lot info
  • Quantity, dimensions, gross/net weight
  • Handling marks (Fragile / Keep Dry / This Side Up)
  • Consignee + destination details

Packaging is designed to be strong, consistent, and customs-inspection friendly.

3. Container Loading Safety

To reduce in-transit movement and corner damage, loading is managed with standard export safety steps:

  • Pre-loading inspection of crates/pallets and container condition (photos available)
  • Anti-slip blocks, bracing, straps to secure panels and prevent shifting
  • Balanced weight distribution to minimize vibration impact
  • Seal number recording + shipping documentation for traceability

If you need it, you can request a loading report and/or third-party inspection before shipment.

4. Shipment Tracking & Logistics Support

You receive practical shipping support designed for B2B project schedules:

  • Tracking details (where available) + ETA updates
  • Shipping terms support: FOB / CIF / DDP (subject to route feasibility)
  • Standard export documents: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, B/L, plus Certificate of Origin when required
  • Optional marine cargo insurance for higher-value loads

Transport methods may include sea freight, trucking, rail, or multimodal based on destination and urgency.

5. Damage Prevention & Responsibility

To minimize risk during ocean transport:

  • Desiccants can be added for humidity control
  • Final checks confirm packaging structure, sealing, and labeling
  • Handling follows “large panel / fragile surface” practices

If damage is confirmed and linked to packing or loading issues under WDF control, the case will be reviewed with photos/documents and handled according to the applicable Warranty & After-Sales Policy.

6. Storage & Handling Guidelines (For Your Warehouse & Site Team)

For best results after arrival:

  • Store in a dry, ventilated indoor area
  • Avoid stacking crates beyond 4–5 layers (depending on crate design and weight)
  • Use forklifts/lifters sized for panel length + safe load rating
  • Keep panels upright with separators when unpacked to protect edges and finishes

If your team needs it, you can request handling notes and packing photos for internal receiving SOPs.

7. Sustainability Commitment

You can reduce waste without sacrificing protection:

  • Increased use of recyclable packaging materials where feasible
  • Optimized crate sizing to improve container utilization
  • Reduced over-packaging while maintaining edge and surface safety
